The Scottish Reformed Conferece collects the following personal information:

  • address
  • email address
  • church/denominational affiliation

This information is used solely to facilitate conference registration, to provide notification of future conferences and related events and to determine statistical information as to the reach of the conference.

 

Sharing of data

The above information is used exclusively by the Scottish Reformed Conference and is not shared with any other third party.

 

Duration

Personal data is kept for a maximum of 10 years.

 

Legal Basis

Given that the data collected by the SRC provides an indication of the religious beliefs of individuals, the data can be considered as “special category data”.

Data collected before 25th May 2018 is processed in order to support the the legitimate interests of the Scottish Reformed Conference (see https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/guide-to-data-protection/guide-to-the-general-data-protection-regulation-gdpr/lawful-basis-for-processing/special-category-data).

Data collected after 25th May 2018 will be processed with the explicit consent of the data subject.
